Hi! It was a tough decision, but here are tonight's winners...

(An honourable mention goes out to a set of drawers on Gilmour, east of Metcalfe)

(Argyle, east of Bank)

Don't bother trying to squint out the gems in this photo; it's just a pile of junk wood. While most of the contents lack intrinsic value, the wood seemed to be of a respectable grade and may be useful in some kind of project. One man's treasure, as they say.

This sideboard seems to operate under the same principles as your average hostel: The middle cupboards open in the french door style, revealing a large communal area. The ends feature 2 drawers each for more private items. It's more expensive to stay in one of these.

Notice a pattern? Just across from the previous items, I spotted this unusually-shaped armchair, a fully operational trash can (with step-activated lid; suitable for kitchen use), and a handful of wooden pallets.

Pallets are like milk crates: they can be used for just about anything, but are often very difficult to acquire. Though, when you do find one, it's usually for free (like all the best things in life).

(Maclaren, east of Metcalfe)

I would categorize the wicker objects in the front somewhere between table and stool. I would also place them somewhere between charming and elegant. The wicker object in the back looks like a pic-a-nic basket which recently survived a bear attack. The other object in the back looks like an inflatable raft, or maybe an electric blanket. Your guess is at least as good as mine.

(Gilmour, east of Cartier)

A (presumably nonfunctional) microwave sits upon a wooden object, which appears to contain some components of a lamp. The real gem, however, is the pentapedal table standing modestly in the background. It seemed supportive and confident.

(Maclaren, west of MacDonald)

These shelves appear to be fairly versatile. It seems the height can be adjusted, or they could serve an entirely different purpose. The filing cabinet clearly does not belong in a landfill. It even looks too classy for the roadside.
