June 6, 2011

Good evening!

Welcome to June. As you can see, the construction season is upon us (especially for those who inhabit the Glebe section of Bank street). I didn't see too many gems out there tonight, though the ones I did find seemed pretty special.

Check it out!

(Lisgar, east of O'Connor)

As you can see, these are some seriously nice looking chairs (the ones on the left, in particular). The ghosts walking by the tree were very interested, so you'll want to go as soon as possible if you hope to procure them. The cabinet in behind isn't bad either.

Also, although it's not clearly visible in the picture, the bike is locked up to the nearby pole, so don't steal it.

(Cartier at Gladstone)

This is a beautiful picnic table, but it's a shame that it's so small. I feel it's discriminatory and offensive to associate bright colours exclusively with prohibitively small objects. Many adults enjoy bright colours also (and I'm sure there are plenty of boring beige-loving kids too).

(Drummond, North of Hazel)

Here's a lovely arrangement of items. As clearly indicated by the sign, feel free to help yourself.

Below is a closer look at some of the objects available.

It's almost all tiles, which may seem a bit impractical if you aren't planning any renovations, but I can assure you that these have some other very interesting applications. They're also quite expensive, so it would be best to prevent them from ending up in a landfill.

Thanks for reading! Have a great night.
